Amends Minnesota Statutes to allow absence from school for children with conditions requiring ongoing treatment for a mental health diagnosis, effective for the 2024-2025 school year and later.

Requires school districts and charter schools to provide enrolled secondary school students access to private space during regular school hours and outside school days (when the site is accessible) to receive mental health care through telehealth from a licensed mental health provider.

Allows students to use school-issued devices for telehealth mental health care if consistent with district or school acceptable use policy.

Requires secondary schools to develop a plan with procedures for receiving access requests and ensure the space is protected from intrusion and provides student privacy.

Schools must make the space available beginning October 1, 2024.
