Amends Minnesota Statutes 2022, section 121A.23, subdivision 1, to modify sexually transmitted infection and disease prevention program requirements for school districts.

Removes the requirement that curriculum include "helping students to abstain from sexual activity until marriage" and replaces it with language requiring curriculum to be "medically and scientifically accurate, unbiased, and updated."

Requires districts to develop comprehensive programs that are medically and scientifically accurate while removing the word "technically" from program material requirements.

Maintains nine program components including planning materials, curriculum, interagency cooperation, targeting high-risk adolescents, parent involvement, staff training, and collaboration with state and local health organizations.

Allows the department to assist service cooperatives in developing or implementing programs for districts that fail to establish their own prevention programs.
