Appropriates $500,000 from the general fund in fiscal year 2025 to the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to Haven for Heroes, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Anoka.

Funds support renovation and repair of Cottage 3 and the auditorium on the Haven for Heroes campus, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and security system improvements.

Covers capital improvements such as safety and energy efficiency upgrades, roof repairs, and site renovations to support ongoing operations.

Cancels the $500,000 appropriation from Laws 2017, First Special Session chapter 8, article 1, section 20, subdivision 9 (as amended by Laws 2018, chapter 214, article 2, section 39) that was previously allocated to Eagle's Healing Nest.

Both sections take effect the day following final enactment.
