Removes the requirement that specialty dentists holding a general dental license must limit their practice to designated specialty areas, eliminating the need to announce a limitation of practice.

Deletes subdivision (e) which previously restricted general dental license holders to their designated specialty area or areas if they had announced a limitation of practice.

Retains all other specialty dentist licensure requirements including postdoctoral program completion, board certification, 2,000 hours of active practice in 36 months, and passage of National Board Dental Examinations and Minnesota jurisprudence exam.

Maintains the restriction that specialty dentists holding one or more specialty licenses must limit practice to their designated specialty area or areas as defined by national specialty boards.
