Appropriates $45,000,000 from the bond proceeds fund to the Minnesota Zoological Board for capital projects.

Allocates $35,000,000 to design, construct, furnish, and equip a new animal hospital building at the Minnesota Zoological Garden.

Allocates $10,000,000 for capital asset preservation improvements, infrastructure and exhibit betterments, building replacements, and trail and road construction or renovation at the Minnesota Zoo.

Authorizes the commissioner of management and budget to sell and issue state bonds up to $45,000,000 to fund the appropriation.

Effective the day following final enactment.
