Appropriates $5,000,000 from the general fund in fiscal year 2024 to the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to Midway Contemporary Art.

Grant funds designated for design, construction, furnishing, and equipping of renovation and upgrades to the organization's facilities in Minneapolis.

Appropriation includes money for landscaping, site improvements, and retiring debt incurred by the organization for facility acquisition.

Establishes this as a onetime appropriation available until the project is completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes section 16A.642.

Effective the day following final enactment.
