Appropriates $1,000,000 from the general fund to the Department of Education for fiscal year 2025 as a grant to Teach for America - Twin Cities.

Grant funds must support recruitment, training, and placement of new prospective teachers in the state.

Grant funds must support recruitment and placement of experienced teachers and school/system leaders, and assist local education agencies with talent planning for high-impact instructional roles and leadership vacancies.

Grant funds must support professional development and retention of diverse and equity-oriented educators.

Appropriation is available until June 30, 2026, and the section is effective July 1, 2024.
