Requires all health plans to provide equal maternity coverage to unmarried women and their dependents as provided to married women, effective January 1, 2025.

Mandates minimum inpatient care coverage of 48 hours following vaginal delivery and 96 hours following caesarean section, with coverage for all medically recommended care extending beyond these minimums.

Requires coverage for postdelivery outpatient care including a minimum of one home visit by a registered nurse within four days of discharge, plus all provider-recommended postdelivery services.

Expands prenatal care coverage to include all procedures, examinations, screenings, counseling, education, and office visits recommended by health care providers, in addition to comprehensive pregnancy support services.

Requires coverage for postnatal care visits including a comprehensive visit within three weeks of delivery, provider-recommended visits between three and eleven weeks, another visit at twelve weeks, and all recommended postnatal care until the infant reaches one year of age, all without cost sharing.
