Amends Minnesota Statutes 2023 Supplement, section 254B.181, subdivision 1, to modify requirements for sober homes.

Requires sober homes to maintain opiate antagonist supply in a conspicuous location and post proper use information.

Mandates sober homes permit residents to use legally prescribed medications, including FDA-approved opioid use disorder treatments and co-occurring substance use and mental health medications, directed by a licensed prescriber.

Requires sober homes to document emergency contact information for residents and notify contacts in certain circumstances including death due to overdose.

Sober homes must maintain contact information for emergency mental health and health resources and have policies on staff qualifications, resident participation in treatment and recovery supports, and abstinence from alcohol and illicit drugs.
