Appropriates $2,000,000 from the general fund in fiscal year 2025 to the Commissioner of Employment and Economic Development for a grant to the Open Hands Foundation.

Funds are designated for construction, furnishing, and equipping improvements for renovation of the Hope House crisis shelter located at 3010 West 78th Street in Excelsior.

Appropriation is one-time and available until the project is completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes section 16A.642.

Takes effect the day following final enactment.
