Amends Minnesota Statutes section 171.07, subdivision 15, to expand eligibility for veteran designation on drivers' licenses and Minnesota identification cards.

Adds "honorably discharged" language to allow retired or honorably discharged members of the National Guard or reserve components of the United States armed forces to qualify for the veteran designation.

Allows applicants to obtain either a "Veteran" designation or a "Veteran 100% T&P" designation (for those with 100 percent total and permanent service-connected disability).

Requires applicants to provide certified discharge papers confirming honorable or general discharge under honorable conditions, or a military retiree, veteran, or veteran health identification card as proof of eligibility.

Takes effect August 1, 2024, and applies to all applications submitted on or after that date.
