Amends Minnesota Statutes section 13.32, subdivision 5, regarding directory information designations for educational data.

Prohibits K-12 educational agencies and institutions from designating a student's home address, telephone number, email address, or other personal contact information as directory information, with an exception for postsecondary institutions.

Requires educational agencies or institutions to share personal student contact information and directory information with the Minnesota Department of Education when requested for federal reporting purposes.

Allows educational agencies or institutions to share personal student contact information and directory information for special education students with the Department of Employment and Economic Development for postsecondary transition planning and coordination of disability services.

Maintains the requirement that parents and students receive notice of their right to refuse designating specified data as directory information through any means reasonably likely to inform them.
