Appropriates $12,725,000 from bond proceeds to the commissioner of public safety for a grant to Brooklyn Park to construct a new fire station with integrated multiagency emergency operations center space.

Funded project includes property acquisition and improvement, design, construction, engineering, furnishing, and equipping of the fire station facility and associated site improvements.

Project will provide space for regional training opportunities in addition to emergency operations functions.

Commissioner of management and budget authorized to sell and issue state bonds up to $12,725,000 to fund the appropriation according to Minnesota Statutes sections 16A.631 to 16A.675 and Minnesota Constitution article XI.

Does not require nonstate contribution; effective the day following final enactment.
