$10,000,000 appropriated from the general fund in fiscal year 2025 to the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to Youthprise, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Funds designated for Youthprise to acquire property, predesign, design, construct, renovate, furnish, and equip a multipurpose community facility in North Minneapolis.

Facility will provide young adult cooperative housing and community programming spaces including early education, workforce training, healthcare navigation, nutrition and wellness, and recreational activities.

Appropriation is onetime and available until the project is completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes section 16A.642.

Effective the day following final enactment.
