$28,000,000 appropriated from bond proceeds fund to the commissioner of natural resources for forests and forestry capital projects.

$8,000,000 allocated for reforestation and stand improvement on state forest lands, including purchasing native seeds and seedlings, planting, seeding, site preparation, and protection.

$18,000,000 allocated to predesign, design, renovate, construct, furnish, and equip a state forest nursery facility.

$2,000,000 allocated for forest stand improvement on state forest lands under Minnesota Statutes sections 88.01 and 88.06.

Commissioner of management and budget authorized to sell and issue state bonds up to $28,000,000 to fund the appropriation, effective the day following final enactment.
