Defines "sex" as the physical condition of being male or female, determined by a person's chromosomes and identified by anatomy, for purposes of this section.

Requires all public school restrooms, locker rooms, changing rooms, and showers accessible by multiple students to be designated exclusively for use by students based on their sex.

Mandates that school personnel provide separate, private, and safe areas designated by sex in any other public school facility where students may be in a state of undress.

Permits schools to provide single-occupancy facilities or controlled use of faculty facilities upon student request due to special circumstances, but prohibits sex-designated facilities from being used by persons of another sex under any circumstances.

Applies to public schools under Minnesota Statutes section 120A.05, subdivisions 9, 11, 13, and 17, and to charter schools under chapter 124E.
