Appropriates $2,577,000 from bond proceeds fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to the city of Maplewood for Harriet Tubman Center East building renovation.

Funds cover design, construction, renovation, furnishing, and equipping of capital improvements including accessibility upgrades, partial roof replacement, electrical system improvements, and commercial kitchen construction.

No nonstate contribution is required for this appropriation.

Authorizes the commissioner of management and budget to sell and issue state bonds up to $2,577,000 to provide the appropriated funds, in accordance with Minnesota Statutes sections 16A.631 to 16A.675 and Minnesota Constitution article XI, sections 4 to 7.

Effective the day following final enactment.
