Classroom teachers must make syllabi electronically available to students and parents within the first two weeks of the school term for all K-12 classes.

Syllabi must cover the full term of the class, outline topics to be covered, and list learning materials including textbooks and the order in which they will be used.

Teachers must update syllabi during the term if modifications are needed due to student pace of advancement, student interests, or other pedagogical reasons.

A new syllabus must be made available if the teacher of record changes.

School districts must maintain existing procedures allowing parents, guardians, and adult students to review instructional materials and arrange alternative instruction if they object to content.
