Appropriates $2,760,000 from the general fund in fiscal year 2025 to the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to Preserve Appleton's Heritage, Inc.

Funding designated for rehabilitation, restoration, and preservation of the Appleton Opera House and Historic City Hall complex in Appleton.

Covers replacement of windows and doors, interior preservation of floors and ceilings, woodwork restoration, and upgrades to plumbing, fire, and mechanical systems including elevator upgrades.

Includes modernization of the annex addition with a commercial kitchen to support ongoing and future operations.

Appropriation is onetime and available until project completion or abandonment, subject to Minnesota Statutes section 16A.642, effective the day following final enactment.
