Appropriates $970,000 from the bond proceeds fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to the city of Hermantown for ice arena improvements

Funds will support predesign, design, construction, furnishing, and equipping of an expansion including a second sheet of indoor ice, locker rooms, dryland training area, ice plant, Zamboni room, and mezzanine

Includes renovation and reconfiguration of existing space in the hockey arena

Authorizes the commissioner of management and budget to sell and issue state bonds up to $970,000 to provide the appropriated funds

This appropriation is in addition to a prior appropriation under Laws 2023, chapter 71, article 1, section 14, subdivision 19, for the same purposes
