Reduces the timeframe for applying for assisted living director licensure from six months to 30 days of hire.

Removes the July 1, 2021 application deadline and associated alternative qualification pathways for individuals with relevant education or management experience.

Changes ongoing training requirement language from "training" to "continuing education" and clarifies that 30 hours every two years must be on topics relevant to assisted living facility operations and resident needs.

Allows continuing education earned for other professional licenses (nursing home administrator, nursing, social worker, mental health professional, or real estate) to count toward the requirement if relevant to the facility's services and residents.

Requires assisted living directors to maintain training records for at least three years and provide them to Department of Health surveyors upon request.
