Prohibits homeowners associations and community associations from restricting dwelling owners from providing child care under a family or group family child care provider license under Minnesota law.

Prohibits associations from imposing fees, assessments, or other costs on dwelling owners in connection with providing child care.

Requires that declarations and bylaws of common interest communities comply with the new restrictions on child care prohibitions, along with existing provisions on short-term rental and owner-occupancy restrictions.

Applies to homeowners association documents including declarations, articles of incorporation, bylaws, and rules and regulations, regardless of whether the community is subject to Minnesota's condominium law.
