Amends Minnesota Statutes section 256B.056, subdivision 4, to modify medical assistance income eligibility limits for various populations.

Aged, blind, or disabled persons eligible under specified subdivisions may have income up to 100 percent of federal poverty guidelines, with Supplemental Security Income recipients capped at the SSI standard.

Parents, caretaker relatives, and children ages 19-20 may have income up to 133 percent of federal poverty guidelines; children under age 19 may have income up to 275 percent of federal poverty guidelines.

Commissioner shall disregard Medicare premium costs when computing income to determine eligibility for persons in category (a) and shall disregard income increases as required by federal law for non-long-term care facility residents.

Effective July 1, 2024, or upon federal approval, whichever is later, with the commissioner of human services required to notify the revisor of statutes when federal approval is obtained.
