Appropriates $19,997,000 from the bond proceeds fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to the city of Chaska for Phase 2 of the City Square West redevelopment project in downtown Chaska.

Funds are designated for acquiring property, designing, constructing, equipping, and furnishing public spaces and public infrastructure related to the project.

Appropriation is in addition to previous funding from Laws 2023, chapter 72, article 2, section 9, subdivision 3.

Authorizes the commissioner of management and budget to sell and issue state bonds up to $19,997,000 to provide the appropriated funds in accordance with Minnesota Statutes sections 16A.631 to 16A.675 and the Minnesota Constitution.

Effective date is the day following final enactment.
