Requires all health insurance policies, plans, certificates, and contracts issued or renewed after January 1, 2025, to cover scalp hair prostheses and all equipment and accessories necessary for their regular use.

Covers hair loss resulting from health conditions including alopecia areata or cancer treatment, unless there is a clinical basis for limitation.

Coverage is subject to the same co-payments, coinsurance, deductibles, and cost-sharing requirements as similar items under the plan.

Limits coverage to one prosthesis per benefit year.

Amends Minnesota Statutes 2022, section 62A.28, subdivision 2, with an effective date of January 1, 2025.
