Amends Minnesota Statutes section 256B.85, subdivision 16, to modify requirements for Community First Services and Supports (CFSS) support workers to qualify for enhanced rates.

Support workers providing CFSS to participants requiring 10 or more hours per day qualify for enhanced rates if they satisfy Medicare training and competency requirements for home health aides or nursing assistants under Code of Federal Regulations title 42, sections 483.151 or 484.36, or alternative state-approved training requirements.

Adds option for individualized training provided by the participant's personal health care provider, worker training and development professional, or responsible party on individualized needs to satisfy enhanced rate requirements.

Effective date is July 1, 2024, or upon federal approval, whichever is later, with the commissioner of human services required to notify the revisor of statutes when federal approval is obtained.
