• Charter schools in Duluth township (St. Louis County) or Nerstrand (Rice County) serving kindergarten through grade 6 must give preference to students within a five-mile radius and siblings of enrolled children.

• Charter schools may give enrollment preference to children currently enrolled in the school's free preschool or prekindergarten program who are eligible for kindergarten enrollment.
