Allows municipalities to issue temporary licenses to food trucks for on-sale of intoxicating liquor at community festivals, events, or private catered events.

Defines "food truck" as a business licensed or permitted to prepare and sell food from a motorized vehicle or trailer within the municipality.

Requires licensees to obtain liability insurance as prescribed by section 340A.409 and specify conditions for dispensing and consuming liquor; license must be approved by the commissioner of public safety.

Authorizes sales on all days of the week to festival/event attendees or, for private events, to the catering contract holder and their guests for a limited duration (specific number of consecutive days and annual days to be determined).

Requires licensees to notify the local police chief (for in-city events) or county sheriff (for out-of-city events) prior to any event.
