$25,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund in fiscal year 2025 to the commissioner of transportation for the small cities assistance account under Minnesota Statutes, section 162.145, subdivision 2.

The appropriation is designated as a onetime appropriation.

All funds must be allocated and distributed pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, section 162.145, in the July 2024 payment.

The bill becomes effective the day following final enactment.
