Secretary of state must place two separate advisory questions on the 2024 state general election ballot asking voters whether to adopt the state flag and state seal designs approved by the State Emblems Redesign Commission.

County auditors and municipal clerks must provide color reproductions of both flag and seal designs for public inspection at each polling place in a conspicuous location.

Secretary of state must submit a report to the legislature by January 15, 2025 detailing the results of the advisory referendum.

Repeals Laws 2023, chapter 62, article 2, sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and section 133, subdivision 1, which had established the new state flag and seal designs effective May 11, 2024.

The repeal of the 2023 laws is effective retroactively from January 1, 2024.
