Appropriates $2,000,000 from the general fund in fiscal year 2025 to the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to United Hmong Family, Inc.

Grant funds are designated for acquiring property and predesigning, designing, constructing, renovating, furnishing, and equipping a facility in Little Canada.

Facility will provide meeting and training space for United Hmong Family, Inc. and other small, similar organizations.

United Hmong Family, Inc. must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to receive the grant.

Appropriation is one-time and available until project completion or abandonment, subject to Minnesota Statutes section 16A.642.
