Appropriates $13,130,000 from the general fund in fiscal year 2025 to the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to Alexandra House, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Funds will support predesign, design, construction, renovation, furnishing, and equipping of an expansion and renovation of the Alexandra House facility in Blaine.

Project includes creation of private unit living quarters for resident families, pet-friendly units, and improvements to administrative, common area spaces, and safety systems.

Appropriation is onetime and remains available until the project is completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes section 16A.642.

Effective the day following final enactment.
