Allows insurance producers to earn up to four hours of continuing education credit per reporting period for active participation in a state or national professional insurance association, provided on an hour-for-hour basis.

Requires the insurance association to verify and submit continuing education credit hours on behalf of the producer and must be registered as an education provider under section 45.307.

Prohibits credit granted under this provision from being used to satisfy ethics education requirements.

Defines active participation as service on a board of directors, formal committee, or formal subcommittee or task force of a state or national chapter of the association.
