Amends Minnesota Statutes 2022, section 97B.318, subdivision 1, regarding shotgun use areas for deer hunting during regular firearms season.

Legal firearms permitted in the shotgun use area include legal shotguns with single-slug shells (including rifled barrels), legal muzzle-loading long guns, and legal handguns.

Modifies the western boundary of the shotgun use area to begin at Big Stone County instead of the northern boundary of Clay County.

Redefines the shotgun use area boundary by changing references from "STH" (State Trunk Highway) to "marked Trunk Highway" and "marked U.S. Highway" for greater specificity along major routes including Highways 95 and 8.

The shotgun use area encompasses a defined portion of western and central Minnesota, bounded by state borders and specific county roads and highways.
