Appropriates $2,600,000 from the general fund to Minnesota service cooperatives for regional school nurse services in fiscal year 2025.

Requires service cooperatives to apply to the commissioner of education and employ or contract with a licensed school nurse to provide regional services to school districts.

Establishes goal of reducing disparities in school health services by supporting efficient responses to student health needs throughout the state.

Regional school nurses must conduct at least three annual community of practice meetings, provide mentoring to schools on health promotion, enhance communication between health and education entities, and collaborate with the Department of Health on professional development.

Appropriation is available until June 30, 2026, with base funding for fiscal year 2026 and later to be determined.
