Appropriates $6,500,000 from the general fund in fiscal year 2025 to Agate Housing and Services, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, for capital improvements at their facility in Minneapolis.

Funds will be used to construct, renovate, furnish, and equip the existing shelter and board-and-lodge facility located at 510 South 8th Street in Minneapolis.

Appropriation specifically includes money for roof repair, plumbing replacement, insulation, and interior furnishings to address damage resulting from building age.

Appropriation is one-time only and remains available until the project is completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes section 16A.642.

Effective the day following final enactment.
