• Prohibits possession of firearms and replica firearms in polling places or within 100 feet of any entrance to a building containing a polling place, beginning two hours before polls open through two hours after polls close on election days.

• Prohibits possession of firearms at ballot drop box locations or within 100 feet of ballot drop boxes during the voting period, and within 100 feet of counting centers at all times while actively processing, tabulating, or canvassing ballots.

• Exempts law enforcement officers performing official duties, lawful firearm possession in residences or businesses within 100 feet of these locations, and lawful possession in occupied vehicles so long as the firearm is not brandished or removed from the vehicle.

• Provides an affirmative defense for persons legally traveling within 100 feet of a ballot drop box to reach or leave private property therein, unless they committed voter intimidation, election interference, or traveled there for unauthorized purposes.

• Establishes penalties of misdemeanor for first-time violations and gross misdemeanor for second-time violations; allows concurrent prosecution for other crimes and does not override federal laws or regulations.
