Amends Minnesota Statutes 2023 Supplement, section 181.9445, subdivision 5, to modify the definition of "employee" for earned sick and safe time purposes.

Defines an employee as any person employed by an employer, including temporary and part-time employees, who performs at least 80 hours of work per year in Minnesota.

Excludes independent contractors and air carrier flight deck or cabin crew members who work less than a majority of their hours in Minnesota and receive paid leave equal to or exceeding statutory amounts.

Excludes individuals employed by farmers, family farms, or family farm corporations with five or fewer employees to provide physical labor or farm management if employed for 14 days or less per year.
