Deputy registrars may issue replacement license plates for qualified vehicles in registered fleets and issue replacement registration cards upon application.

A new vehicle may be registered to an existing fleet upon application to a deputy registrar and payment of the applicable fee.

Initial fleet applications and renewals must be filed with the commissioner or authorized deputy registrar.

Fleet registrants who fail to renew licenses or report vehicle removals within 30 days must pay a 20 percent penalty on total taxes due, payable within 30 days of assessment.

Fleet registration applicants must pay an administrative fee to the commissioner for each vehicle in the fleet instead of the standard filing fee.
