Appropriates $500,000 in fiscal year 2025 from the general fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development for relocation grants to community butcher shops.

Grant funds may only be used for costs associated with relocating community butcher shops.

Eligible butcher shops must serve residents and families in census tracts where 50 percent or more of the population is persons of color, or where 25 percent or more of households have income at or below 200 percent of the federal poverty level.

Relocation must result from efforts to reduce the environmental impact of the business operations.

This is a one-time appropriation.
