Appropriates an unspecified amount from the general fund in fiscal year 2025 to the Commissioner of Human Services for a grant to Hennepin County to conduct a two-year pilot project.

Pilot project provides peer recovery support services to youth aged 13-18 years under Minnesota Statutes, section 245G.07, subdivision 2, clause (8).

Pilot project must be conducted in partnership with a community organization providing culturally specific peer recovery support services to East African individuals.

Hennepin County must submit a report to legislative committee chairs and ranking minority members detailing implementation, operation, outcomes, and recommendations for expanding youth peer recovery support services statewide.

Appropriation base is an unspecified amount in fiscal year 2026 and $0 in fiscal year 2027.
