Amends Minnesota Statutes 2022, section 326B.89, subdivision 1 to expand the definition of "residential real estate" covered by the contractor recovery fund.

Adds "private residential pools connected with the residential real estate" to the definition of residential real estate, provided the pools are controlled and used by the owner, owner's family, or invited guests and are not used as part of a business.

Applies to new or existing buildings constructed for habitation by one to four families, along with associated detached garages for vehicle storage.

Maintains existing exclusions that the definition of "owner" does not include real estate developers or owners using the property for business purposes rather than as owner-occupied residential real estate.
