$8,000,000 appropriated from bond proceeds fund to the commissioner of public safety for a grant to the city of Lakeville to design, construct, furnish, and equip a renovated regional public safety training center

Regional training center will serve first responders in the south Twin Cities metropolitan area and adjacent cities and counties

Facility will include physical and virtual training areas, tactical training rooms, a firing range, classrooms, and meeting areas

Commissioner of management and budget authorized to sell and issue state bonds up to $8,000,000 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes sections 16A.631 to 16A.675 and Minnesota Constitution article XI, sections 4 to 7

This appropriation supplements the appropriation in Laws 2023, chapter 72, article 2, section 6 for the same purposes
