Appropriates $1,000,000 from the general fund in fiscal year 2025 to the commissioner of agriculture for grants to counties supporting county agricultural inspectors.

Commissioner may use up to three percent of the appropriation annually for administration costs.

Counties must employ a county agricultural inspector or designated employee who completes training, coordinates with the commissioner on laws and enforcement, submits weed inspector reports, conducts annual inspector training, and assists with control programs as directed.

County agricultural inspectors and designated employees must submit annual applications on commissioner-approved forms to remain eligible for funding.

Commissioner must equally divide available grant money among all eligible counties.
