Amends Minnesota Statutes 2022, section 256I.03, subdivision 7 to modify countable income definitions for housing support recipients.

For SSI recipients in specified settings, countable income equals 30 percent of the SSI benefit limit in effect at the time of housing support receipt, rather than the full benefit limit less medical assistance allowance.

For non-SSI recipients with unearned income in specified settings, countable income equals 30 percent of total income after applicable exclusions and disregards.

Excludes Tribal per capita payments from being considered countable income for housing support purposes.

Effective date: August 1, 2023.
