Expands Minnesota Medical Assistance coverage to include prescription digital therapeutics as defined in the bill.

Defines "prescription digital therapeutics" as products, devices, Internet applications, or other technology that are FDA-approved, cleared, or classified under sections 510(k), 513(f), or 515 of the federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.

Requires covered digital therapeutics to have an approved or cleared indication for preventing, managing, or treating a medical disease, condition, or disorder.

Requires digital therapeutics to use software as the primary means to achieve intended results and can only be dispensed by prescription.

Becomes effective October 1, 2023, or upon federal approval, whichever is later, with the commissioner of human services required to notify the revisor of statutes when federal approval is obtained.
