Appropriates $218,000 in fiscal year 2024 and $218,000 in fiscal year 2025 to support a statewide network of disability groups governed by people with intellectual and developmental disabilities for self-advocacy services and supports.

Grant funding for the primary appropriation must support training and maintaining peer-to-peer mentors, outreach activities including statewide conferences, an annual leadership program, and administrative and general operating costs.

Appropriates $105,000 in fiscal year 2024 and $105,000 in fiscal year 2025 for subgrants to organizations conducting outreach to persons in institutional settings about community service options.

Secondary grant funding must deliver peer-led skill training sessions in six regions of the state covering housing, employment, education, transportation, Olmstead plan initiatives, workforce development, and federal home and community-based services regulations.
