Amends Minnesota Statutes section 297A.71, subdivision 52, to add a sales tax exemption for construction materials and equipment in the city of Wayzata for nine specific projects purchased between March 31, 2020, and January 1, 2025.

Exempt Wayzata projects include: expansion and remodeling of Depot Park, community docks on Lake Minnetonka, a lakeside boardwalk (approximately 1,500 lineal feet), shoreline restoration, Section Foreman House restoration with learning center, Eco Park construction, a public plaza with 9/11 memorial, a regional multiuse trail, and railroad crossings.

Tax is initially imposed and collected at the standard rate, then refunded in accordance with section 297A.75.

Effective retroactively for sales and purchases made after March 31, 2020.
