Commissioner of human services must work with stakeholders to develop recommendations for financing mechanisms for the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), including actuarial work and administrative costs.

Commissioner must recommend a financing mechanism that could begin July 1, 2024.

Commissioner must report progress to legislative committee chairs and ranking minority members with jurisdiction over health care funding by December 15, 2023.

$265,000 is appropriated from the general fund in fiscal year 2024 to the commissioner of human services to complete initial actuarial and administrative work for PACE implementation.
