Amends Minnesota Statutes section 171.24 to enhance penalties for driving with a suspended, revoked, canceled, or disqualified license.

Establishes gross misdemeanor charges for repeat violators who have two prior convictions under this section within ten years and are driving with a suspended, revoked, or canceled license.

Applies gross misdemeanor penalties when the suspended or revoked license status results from specific violations including DWI offenses, reckless driving, or violations under Minnesota's impaired driving laws.

Clarifies that local attorneys responsible for prosecuting misdemeanor violations are also responsible for prosecuting gross misdemeanor violations under this section.

Effective August 1, 2023, and applies to offenses committed on or after that date.
